Quercetin 

Quercetin belongs to a group of polyphenolic substances known as flavonoids, and is specifically found in a class of flavonoids called flavonols. It is widely distributed in the plant kingdom, but especially in rinds and barks.

Particularly rich sources of quercetin include onions, red wine, green tea, and St. John’s wort. Most individuals consume some amount of quercetin from fruit, vegetables, and berries in the diet.
